"Por el momento, en Toro Rosso parece se quedarán con quienes tienen", esas son las palabras de Daniel Ricciardo cuando le preguntan por su futuro.El piloto australiano respira algo más tranquilo tras no tenerlas todas consigo cuando estaba a punto de terminar la temporada, como ya pusimos por aquí con algún articulo procedente de su país, en el que dudaban sobre la opción de que Red Bull apostara por él de nuevo para otra temporada.Ahora, con la tranquilidad de haber firmado un nuevo contrato con la casa matriz, Red Bull, está a la espera de conocer su destino.
Una de las opciones barajadas era la posibilidad de sustituir a uno de los pilotos de Toro Rosso, pero esta posibilidad la descarta el propio Ricciardo diciendo que aunque no está 100% seguro, lo más probable es que continuen Jaime y Buemi "At the moment it seems like Toro Rosso are going to stay with who they've got.It wasn't put down 100 per cent, but it was the wording I was making out."Así que la opción que se baraja para Ricciardo es una escudería fuera de la órbita de Red Bull: "There's a good chance if I'm on the grid next year it's going to be with another non-Red Bull outfit", y al emplear la palanbra "another" parece querer indicar que no será en HRT, posibilidad que no menciona en ningún momento.
Así que todo parece indicar que la opción barajada es la opción de Team Lotus (Caterham ahora), que sería bien recibida, por cuanto pasaría a luchar por posiciones algo más por arriba de lo que ha hecho este año, dando un paso hacia adelante, algo que tanto él como Red Bull pretenden que haga...y tendría de compañero de Kovalainen, un piloto ganador de grandes premios: ."I would like to say there's a chance, but at least for me that's probably all it is for now, just a chance.It would be a step up from this year, so it's not really a bad thing.I doubt they'll still be able to fight for points next year. They'll still be towards the further end, but I think they're progressing well.If (Heikki) Kovalainen was to be my teammate, it's someone very good to measure up to. He's won a grand prix before and he's smashed Trulli this year."
Por tanto, si hay algo que podemos deducir de todo lo dicho por Ricciardo son 3 cosas muy importantes:
-Jaime Alguersuari y Sebastian Buemi continuan en Toro Rosso.
-Ricciardo no parece optar a renovar por HRT
-La opción que más abiertamente barajan es la de Caterham (antes Team Lotus)
De momento por tanto parecen despejarse incognitas pendientes así como nos da una cierta tranquilidad sobre la opción de que Alguersuari conserve su puesto en Toro Rosso.Obviamente todo esto no es oficial, son los pensamientos del propio piloto, pero no deberían caer en saco roto por cuanto él es el primero que debe estar bien informado, habiendo además renovado su contrato hace nada, poniendo fin a las especulaciones que lo situaban fuera de Red Bull y de la F1.

Perth Formula One driver Daniel Ricciardo has been given some certainty over his immediate future after championship team Red Bull extended his contract into next year.The 22-year-old drove in 11 races in his debut season on loan to backmarker HRT this year. Two 18th places, in Hungary and India, were his best finishes.His year ended on a subdued note late last month in Brazil when he had tyre problems early and finished 20th.

Ricciardo said he would not be satisfied with a reserve role in 2012 and that he believed Red Bull were of the same opinion."I'm obviously proud of getting there and doing something that I've dreamed of since I was a kid, but it's probably like everything," he said."I've got there now, but I'm not happy just to settle just for that. I want to keep going forward and I believe I can."Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has already said he hopes Ricciardo will have a spot on the grid next year
